Two of the Powerline Philosophers weigh in on the Whelan-publius controversy. Shockingly, they take the side of "our friend" Ed Whelan, the NRO commentator, former Scalia law clerk, and Bush legal advisor. Mirengoff''s analysis is incoherent. Hinderaker simply impugns the manhood of publius.
A few hours later, Whelan apologizes to publius. I think it is safe to assume the Philosophers have spoken their last word on this topic. It seems not even their friends are as crazy as they are.
