Tonight I drank with my supper a product of Boulder Beer Company, Cold Hop. Get it? Sounds like cold pop, but it is cold hop, because beer is made of hops!
I should have said that ale is made of hops, because according to the label, Cold Hop is a "high-gravity British-Style ale." I'm foggy about the difference between ale and beer and the rest of that claim is even more mysterious. Was it brewed in a black hole?
What the label calls "a rich golden hue" I would call "orange," but you should check for yourself because Amanda has to dress me in the morning. Soon I will get to the taste. Nothing wrong with the aroma. Comes in a standard brown bottle, and, while the text on the label is to me incomprehensible, its blue-green scheme is attractive and makes me think maybe you are supposed to drink it with a lime.
I thought it tasted fine in a grainy, slightly aggressive sort of way.
