Being an Obama-votin', latte-sippin', NPR-listenin' liberal, I was amused today during "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" to learn that I am not the only one to find the most entertaining aspect of Sarah Palin's recent endorsement of the front-runner in the GOP presidential race to be the sight of The Donald standing behind the former governor of Alaska and doing his best to impersonate a normal person acting normally while someone else gets all the attention. His discomfort was palpable. It must have been the sensation of not being at the front of the stage, because I don't think he's smart enough to know that Palin was filling the air with her trademark stupid stuff.
Peter also had an intriguing theory for why Palin likes The Donald, who in the early days of the campaign slurred the military record of the man--John McCain--who plucked her from obscurity and forced the whole world to know what a fool she is. Maybe Palin thinks Trump is one of her offspring! (Trig, Track . . . Trump.)
Speaking of Track Palin, I see that Obama made him beat up his girlfriend. It's useless to try and make fun of these people. Just give them a mic and don't interrupt.
