This should have been yesterday's #2:
2. While tuned yesterday afternoon to CNN, my ears perked up when Legal Analyst Jeffrey Toobin began an answer to a question put to him by the host with the words, "I'm going to say three words that you're never supposed to say on cable tv. . . ."
I wish I knew what the question was, but again, I wasn't paying much attention until Toobin promised to smash a taboo. The three words you're not supposed to say, and his answer to the question: I don't know.
Regarding the subject matter of Mueller's investigation, no one not on the Trump Team knows, but there's 24 hours of programming that need to be filled each day, so by all means, let the speculators speculate. But doesn't it seem obvious in what general direction the truth lies? The Trump Team knows what happened, so it makes sense to ask whether they appear to be waiting calmly for complete vindication.
No, they don't. The head coach in particular appears irritable.
