Found myself wondering today whether a comedian has ever done a bit about superfluous road signs. I have in mind the ones that say, "Watch for buses on shoulder." The signs are invariably to the side of the shoulder and somewhat less imposing than a bus.
You can learn something by reading journalistic commentary from the hand of people with whom you disagree. For example, it would never have occurred to me that President Biden, besides suffering from dementia, has managed to enlist prosecutors in different offices across the country in a delicate, if insidious, scheme aimed at taking out Trump. Soros helped, sure, but still pretty good for a guy who should be in a Memory Care Unit. Maybe give him some additional credit for holding together the NATO alliance against Trump's pal, Putin.
A 9-year-old said to me yesterday, "How can you put up with us? Don't you ever get mad?" I'm thinking that if he can't tell I'm mad the regular teachers must resemble Tom Izzo when his guys are slow getting back on defense. I’ll never know, but I suspect these youngsters might be telling me to cram the lowest common denominator up my ass in Spanish.
